Formerly know as Ferst Readers of Muscogee County
Who We Are
Started in 2012 as the Ferst Readers of Muscogee County,
with the mission of providing children under five
with a free age appropriate book every month until age five,
we have grown to support over 3,600 children
in Muscogee and Chattahoochee County, Georgia
and Russell County, Alabama.
In order to continue to provide this service to as many children as possible in our area,
our local board has voted to move from our current book provider (Ferst Readers)
to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Our mission stays the same. However, this move will allow us to serve almost twice as many children for the same cost.
As soon as the change over is complete
we will be accepting applications
for children to register to receive their free
monthly books under our new name
Chattahoochee Valley Imagination Library.
